Boats Away Day 2015

Boats away 2015

Picture shows all the helpers that came along for the very busy day and helped with putting the boats away and stripping them down and cleaning every last piece of equipment too. It was an extremely busy day that soon passed by, it may be hard work but the day was filled with laughter and the occasional OUCH! thrown in for good measure. The great food and many hands made it a day that, I believe, was enjoyed by all.

Peter W, Keith and Jim working on a boat hull and a great job they did too.

It was an honour to work alongside so many dedicated volunteers who give so much and ask for nothing in return, how lucky we are here at Waveney Sailability to have so many lovely people willing to put so much of their own time into our club, and for our benefit. Thank you doesn't seem enough but, I'm sure like myself, you appreciate all their hard work too. A lot of the volunteers continue into the winter to repair boats to make sure that when we get afloat again next season they will be in tip top condition.

I hope to see most of you at the Christmas Party, If you can't make it then I wish you a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

ROLL ON NEXT SEASON!
